Job Description:

Position Designation: Product Manager- Operational Marketing

Position Fitment in the Organisation: You are part of the Marketing Department for a given product and report to a Group Leader in charge of several product ranges. You report directly to the product Group Leader and indirectly to the Marketing Director.

Role Definition and KRA’s:

  • You are the drive behind the success of your product which you have overseen throughout the entire process.
  • You set out and supervise the development of the operational marketing plan based on the combined economic indicators.
  • You mobilize your team and inspire their involvement in the product. You are extremely versatile, and know your market and your consumers better than anyone else. You bring the marketing strategy to life with your team in order to make your products a success.

 

You will need to co-ordinate:

  • The Studies group, which will provide you with all the necessary elements to compile a detailed analysis of your market, competition, and consumers;
  • The advertising agency (advertising copy, media plans);
  • the packaging design agency;
  • relations with the operational divisions, which evaluate stock supplies and management;
  • the legal and regulatory department;
  • the accounting department, who will manage your budgets;
  • the sales and marketing department, who will implement the business and promotional strategy of the product range.

    You are very results-oriented, attracted by the entrepreneurial and “business” sides of the position and the cross-disciplinary challenge.

Job Location: Mumbai

Position Urgency: 15 days from the date of posting

Notice period buyout policies: Required before joining

Salary: 10-15 lacs per annum

Educational criteria: MBA specialized in Marketing

Total years of experience: 6-8 years in the relevant field
